A group of all-women explorers will attempt
to set a world record in 2016 by snorkeling the Northwest Passage on the SEDNA
Expedition. Their primary goal is to raise awareness of shrinking sea ice in the Arctic. Epic expeditions such as this require epic preparations as they
will have to deal with extreme cold and possibly hungry Polar Bears and Walrus.
Susan Eaton is organizing the expedition and talks about the journey and what
it’s all about on this week’s Planet Earth Diver.
