New gear (read: toys) are always part of scuba diving. Hollis is producing the first true recreational re-breather called the Hollis Explorer. It is simple to use (really!) and you only need an open water and nitrox certification to use it.
I talk with the maker of the Explorer Nick Hollis, about the unit from his perspective. In the second half of the show I talk with Matthew Robinson from Midlands Re-breather Diving who trains people on the Explorer and travels with it. It is a good look at the product not just from the manufacturers perspective but from someone who is teaching the use of the Explorer and using it in his travels.
