Grand Cayman's Mermaid Amphitrite Gets Some Company - Guardian of the Reef

In April Canadian Sculptor Simon Morris saw his latest creation sunk beneath the waves at Lighthouse Point on Grand Cayman. Guardian of the Reef will now be one of the go to dives sites on an island that already boasts 365 dive locations. Simon talks with me about his work.

Dive Techs Big Bronze Birthday Present

There's a new statue in town. Grand Cayman's Dive Tech Dive Shops ordered the bronze Guardian of the Reef to Celebrate their birthday today (May 5th). I talk with owner Nancy Easterbrook about the message behind it and the reaction from the dive community.
